Responsibilities

• Preparation of S corporation, Partnership, Trust and Individual tax returns.
• Preparation of multi-state Partnership and Individual tax returns.
• Preparation of sales tax returns.
• Compile financial statements in QuickBooks for use in tax return preparation.
• Preparation of 1099 forms.

Experience

• Proven experience as a Staff Accountant or similar role within public accounting firms.
• Three or more years of solid tax return preparation experience.
• Strong knowledge of Federal and State tax regulations.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks accounting software.
• Solid understanding of double-entry bookkeeping systems and debits & credits fundamentals.
• Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail; capable of managing multiple priorities effectively and independently.
• Strong communication skills
