Location: Oxnard, CA
Schedule: Monday–Thursday | 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM (4x10 schedule)
Pay: $20–$23/hr (DOE)
Employment Type: Full-Time | On-Site

Position Summary:
We are seeking a hands-on Assistant Production Supervisor to support daily production operations. This role will work closely with the Production Supervisor to lead team members, maintain product quality, and support the upkeep and troubleshooting of production equipment. Ideal for someone who enjoys both leadership and mechanical problem-solving in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise, train, and support production staff throughout daily operations

• Ensure workflow efficiency and adherence to quality, safety, and GMP standards

• Monitor setup, cleaning, calibration, and performance of production machinery

• Maintain detailed production logs and documentation

• Troubleshoot line issues and escalate as needed

• Learn and perform preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment

• Assist in continuous improvement efforts to reduce downtime and improve processes

Qualifications:

• Bilingual in English and Spanish required

• 3–5 years of experience in production supervision (food manufacturing preferred)

• Strong communication and leadership skills

• Mechanical aptitude or willingness to learn industrial equipment maintenance

• Forklift experience or ability to certify

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand/walk for 10-hour shifts

• Ability to frequently lift up to 25 lbs and occasionally up to 40 lbs

• Comfortable working in a loud production environment
