Job Title: Groundskeeper Assistant

Location: Webster Groves, MO

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Pay: $16

Position Summary:
The Groundskeeper Assistant supports campus facilities by maintaining clean, safe, and attractive grounds and building exteriors/interiors. This role involves outdoor and indoor work that changes seasonally, including landscaping support, grounds upkeep, and general maintenance tasks. The ideal candidate is dependable, physically capable, and able to follow directions and work efficiently in a campus environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with general grounds maintenance, including pulling weeds, picking up litter, and supporting landscaping needs

• Collect and empty campus trash receptacles and recycling bins

• Operate a utility vehicle (Gator-type truck) to transport materials and complete assigned tasks

• Support seasonal tasks such as snow removal, leaf cleanup, planting, and outdoor setup/takedown

• Assist with designated interior maintenance tasks as assigned

• Complete any additional duties assigned by the Facilities Manager or maintenance team

• Follow safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment

Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license required (must be eligible to operate campus vehicles)

• Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions

• Reliable work ethic and positive attitude

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including bending, kneeling, pulling, pushing, lifting, walking, and standing for extended periods

• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
