Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in residential or hotel environments, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for guests and residents. This position offers growth potential — the right candidate will have the opportunity to transition into an office-based role serving as a liaison between English- and Spanish-speaking team members to support communication and coordination across departments.


Responsibilities

  • Perform thorough cleaning and sanitization of assigned areas, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas.

  • Conduct residential cleaning tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping floors, and carpet cleaning.

  • Launder linens and towels, ensuring they are fresh and well-presented.

  • Manage housekeeping supplies and report any shortages or maintenance needs.

  • Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to guest requests and inquiries.

  • Maintain a high standard of cleanliness in accordance with established housekeeping protocols.

  • Assist in cooking or meal preparation as needed, ensuring kitchen cleanliness is upheld.

  • Collaborate with other staff members to ensure efficient operations within the housekeeping department.

  • Support bilingual communication between English- and Spanish-speaking staff to enhance understanding, efficiency, and teamwork.

  • Assist with basic office duties such as scheduling, coordinating housekeeping assignments, and relaying messages or updates to management.


Qualifications

  • Previous experience in residential cleaning or hotel housekeeping is preferred but not required.

  • Strong knowledge of sanitation practices and cleaning techniques.

  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is strongly preferred.

  • Familiarity with floor care procedures and equipment is an advantage.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing time effectively.

  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.

  • Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that may require lifting, bending, or standing for extended periods.

  • Interest in learning administrative or office support responsibilities as part of future growth within the company.
