CNC MILL AND LATHE MACHINIST NEEDED FOR A VERY BUSY SHOP!  PLEASE CALL MARIA AT 661-775-2570

Summary:
Responsible for efficiently producing precision parts using CNC mills and lathes while meeting all drawing, planning, and quality specifications. Work independently to set up, operate, and adjust CNC machines, interpret CNC programs, and ensure consistent part quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up, operate, and adjust CNC mills and lathes with minimal supervision.
• Work from technical drawings and specifications to create precision parts.
• Inspect and maintain quality using measurement tools and in-process records.
• Recommend process improvements to reduce cycle times.
• Train and assist less experienced machinists and machine operators.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 5+ years in CNC machine operation and/or setup.
• Controls: Familiar with Haas and Fadal systems.
• Skills: Proficient with calipers, micrometers, indicators, gauges, and surface inspection.
• Knowledge: Cutting tool speeds and feeds (S&F’s).
• Tools: Must have own machinist tools.
• Bonus: Programming and leadership experience.
