Service Advisor

Located in Oregon, WI

Salary: $22+/hr

We are currently seeking a Service Advisor/Writer for a mechanic shop client in Oregon.

 

The goal of the Service Writer is to provide the best customer service experience possible. It is our mission to provide excellent service in a profitable and efficient manner that keeps customers returning for future work. The service advisor is generally the first and the last contact with the customer so it is imperative that professionalism and quality service is provided. The service advisor can make or break the entire repair experience.

 

Main Duties:

• Every morning work with Shop Foreman to determine the agenda for the day and host an 7am meeting with the technicians
• During meeting explain what is expected for the day and see if the technicians need anything to help the day go smoother and get status updates on “in progress” work
• Guide the customer along the entire Maintenance/repair experience
• Great the customer via phone, email, in person.
• Understand their concern with the vehicle
• Schedule the service
• Identify if a loaner is required
• Communicate with the technicians on the repair order and verbally as required to ensure the customer concerns are properly addressed by the technician
• Work with shop foreman to dispatch the work to technicians
• Communicate with technicians on what parts, labor times, and any other tools or supplies are needed to complete the job

Requirements

• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
• Familiarity with automotive services and general mechanic knowledge is advantageous.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate record keeping and service writing.
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.

 

Schedule: Full time, day shift role.  Eventual goal of this position is to run a 4-day shift of Tuesday through Friday

 

Pay: $21 - $25/hour.  Company offers additional benefits and perks including:
