About the Role:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Maintenance Helper to join our hotel team. In this role, you will assist the Maintenance Technician and management with routine maintenance tasks, repairs, and general upkeep of the property to ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for our guests and staff.
Responsibilities:

Assist with basic repairs to plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical systems

Perform minor carpentry, painting, and general maintenance tasks

Help maintain cleanliness and organization in maintenance areas

Respond to maintenance requests in guest rooms and public areas

Perform regular inspections of equipment and facilities

Assist in setting up or moving furniture and equipment as needed

Support the maintenance team with preventative maintenance projects

Ensure all safety and hotel standards are followed at all times
Qualifications:
-
Previous maintenance or handyman experience preferred (hotel experience a plus)

Basic knowledge of tools, equipment, and repair techniques

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the day

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team

Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or evenings as needed
