Inside Sales & Customer Service Representative

📍 Framingham, MA | 🕓 Full-Time M-F (On Site) | 💰 $70,000–$77,000/year

Our client, a growing distributor of gourmet and specialty foods, is seeking an Inside Sales & Customer Service Representative to support customer relationships, sales growth, and day-to-day order management. This position plays a key role in ensuring exceptional service and maintaining strong client partnerships across New England.

Key Responsibilities

• Make daily outbound calls to existing customers (10–40 per day) to process and upsell orders
• Enter and confirm orders, resolve issues, and coordinate with warehouse and purchasing teams
• Support the outside sales team with follow-ups, sample coordination, and marketing materials
• Maintain accurate sales records and reports using QuickBooks and Excel; update marketing materials as needed.
• Assist with trade shows, new product rollouts, and supplier communications

Qualifications & Experience 

• 3–5 years of sales and/or customer service experience, ideally in food service or retail grocery

• Prior phone sales experience required

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook; QuickBooks experience a plus

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Outgoing, team-oriented, and able to work independently

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
