Job Summary: This position is with a well-established produce distributor that supplies fresh citrus and other fruits to major retailers, wholesalers, and food service partners across the region. The Citrus Packer is responsible for sorting, grading, and packing citrus fruit according to quality standards to ensure customers receive fresh, reliable, and properly packaged products.
Responsibilities:
· Inspect and sort citrus fruit by size, quality, and appearance.
· Remove damaged or substandard fruit prior to packing.
· Pack citrus into boxes, bags, or containers according to specifications.
· Ensure labeling, counts, and packaging requirements are accurate.
· Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
· Follow all safety, sanitation, and food-handling procedures.
· Assist with stacking or palletizing finished product as needed.
· Report any quality issues or equipment concerns to supervisors.
Schedule & Pay:
· Schedule: Monday – Sunday | All Shifts Available
· Pay: $14.00/H
Qualifications:
· Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.
· Ability to lift 20–40 lbs. as needed.
· Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
· Experience in produce, warehouse, or packing preferred but not required.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
