Testing and troubleshooting various pieces of equipment from board test to 480VAC and Medium Voltage systems for production and rework both.

 

QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • A minimum of a 2-year college with electrical background minimum or technical school diploma
  • Knowledge of electrical codes, industry specifications and motor control technology considered a plus.
  • Technician should possess the ability to test and troubleshoot circuit boards to component level.
  • Must have the ability to read and interpret schematics of electronic circuits.
  • Would need to be familiar with the use of various pieces of test equipment, oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, probes, etc.
  • Experience with 480Vac systems as well as medium voltage systems would be optimal.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Needs to read equipment, with oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, and probes, to accurately determine condition of boards and other equipment.
  • Need to be able to make repairs of basic electrical equipment.
  • Trouble shoot boards down to the component level.
  • Need to be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs.
  • Must be a team player yet be able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Managing multiple testing and completing assignments in a timely manner while supporting monthly production goals.
  • Adapting quickly to last minute changes while still meeting project deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal, computer and written skills are expected to effectively communicate with all levels of the business structure.

  • This is not a remote position.

$19.00 - $21.00 per hour (DOE)
