CDL Driver Class A

Hours: 

*This is an OTR position with no set schedule

• Routes primarily cover the Midwest region

• Flexibility required — schedules depend on freight availability and customer needs

• Drivers manage their own time on the road while ensuring timely deliveries

Pay:

*Current drivers are earning up to $75,000–$80,000 annually based on performance

• Drivers are paid based on a percentage of each load delivered

• No base hourly or salary pay — compensation is tied directly to freight hauled

• Typical pay starts at 25% of the load revenue or higher, with final percentage negotiated during the interview 

• Earnings vary depending on freight volume, distance, and type of trailer used

Duties: 

• Safely deliver various goods and freight to customers across the Midwest region

• Operate CDL trucks including flatbed, semi, reefer, or open trailers

• Ensure timely pickups and deliveries while maintaining compliance with DOT regulations

• Complete and maintain accurate electronic logs (Elogs) using personal phone or tablet

• Perform routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs

• Represent the company professionally with excellent customer service during deliveries

Qualifications: 

• Valid CDL Class A license with OTR driving experience

• Experience operating flatbed, semi, reefer, or open trailers

• Current Federal Medical (FedMed) certification

• Ability to use technology for Elogs and communication tools

• Familiarity with manual transmission trucks

• Strong work ethic, reliability, and commitment to safety
