Manual Machinist     

 

Location: East Indianapolis, IN

Position Type: Direct hire

Pay: $25-27/hr

Schedule: 2^nd shift – flexible start time; 4 x 10s

                        

Job Duties:

• Prepare, maintain and operate assigned lathes and mills to produce machined parts with tight tolerances
• Set up equipment to production specifications
• Read blueprints and written work instructions

 

Qualifications:  Our client is looking for someone with the following skills and experience:

• Ability to read micrometers, calipers and precision instruments

• At least 2 years of machine operator experience

• Experience troubleshooting problems and resolving machining issues

• Clear understanding of tooling equipment and processes

• Good attendance

• Strong work ethic
