Heavy Equipment Operator

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate heavy machinery including dozers, mini excavators, and other construction equipment.
• Perform site preparation, grading, trenching, and backfilling as required.
• Assist with general labor tasks such as material handling, site cleanup, and basic construction duties.
• Conduct daily equipment inspections and report any issues or maintenance needs.
• Follow safety protocols and ensure safe operation of all equipment.
• Work efficiently in a team environment and communicate effectively with supervisors and crew members.
• Complete assigned tasks accurately and on schedule.

Qualifications:

• Experience operating dozers and mini excavators in a construction setting.
• Knowledge of machinery operation and basic maintenance.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks and physical labor in outdoor environments.
• Strong work ethic and commitment to showing up on time.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid equipment operator certifications or licenses (if applicable).

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in general construction labor.
• Ability to read and follow site plans or instructions.
• CDL or additional equipment certifications are a plus.

Working Conditions:

• Outdoor work in various weather conditions.
• Physical labor including lifting, bending, and standing for long periods.
• Exposure to noise, dust, and heavy machinery.
