DTF Cutter Operator

The DTF Operator will operate and maintain state-of-the-art Direct-to-Film (DTF) printing and cutting equipment to produce high-quality transfers. This position is responsible for ensuring accurate, timely, and consistent output while maintaining safe work practices and adherence to company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate digital DTF printers and cutters to produce precise, high-quality prints in accordance with job specifications.
• Monitor, adjust, and perform routine maintenance on printing equipment, including print head cleaning and line flushing.
• Conduct regular quality checks, ensuring all prints meet internal and customer standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical or print issues quickly to minimize downtime.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace while effectively managing consumables and supplies.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth production flow and information sharing.

Minimum Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in DTF, digital, or wide-format printing (preferred).
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot printing equipment.
• Strong attention to detail, color accuracy, and quality control.
• Good organizational and time management skills; ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Reliable transportation and strong communication skills (verbal and written).
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 40 lbs throughout the workday.
• Willingness to work in a moderate to loud environment with appropriate PPE.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with inkjet, sublimation, eco-solvent, or UV printing systems.
• Understanding of digital print workflows, RIP software, and color management.
• Technical training or certification in printing, graphics, or equipment maintenance a plus.

Safety & Work Environment:

• Commitment to maintaining a safe workplace by following all company safety policies and using PPE.
• Ability to work around moving mechanical parts, fumes, or airborne particles.
