Production Technician

Located in Sarasota, FL

Salary: $21-$24/hour

The Production Technician will be responsible for assembling, wiring, and soldering components for medical devices and related equipment. This role requires attention to detail, strong manual dexterity, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety in a regulated manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble mechanical and electronic components according to work instructions, blueprints, and schematics.
• Perform precision wiring, crimping, and soldering using hand tools and small equipment.
• Inspect assemblies for accuracy, quality, and compliance with company and regulatory standards.
• Test completed assemblies to verify functionality and reliability.
• Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
• Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to resolve assembly or design issues.
• Follow all safety protocols, cleanroom requirements, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training or associate degree preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in assembly, manufacturing, or production (medical device or electronics industry preferred).
• Proficiency in wiring, soldering, and use of hand tools.
• Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
• Basic computer and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
• Manual dexterity for small part assembly.
• May require occasional lifting up to 25 lbs.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6 AM - 2:30 PM

Pay Rate: $21-$24/hour
