Stockroom Clerk

Salary: $19-$21/Hour

We are partnered with a manufacturing company in Sarasota that is hiring a Stockroom / Inventory Clerk to support production operations and internal departments. This role is responsible for receiving, storing, moving, and distributing materials using inventory systems and warehouse equipment.

Position: Stockroom / Inventory Clerk
Pay: $19–$21 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Monday–Friday (full-time; standard daytime schedule)

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, store, issue, and distribute materials, tools, equipment, and products.

• Support the production floor and other internal teams with timely material handling.

• Move inventory safely using pallet jacks and forklifts.

• Maintain accurate inventory records within MRP/ERP systems.

• Assist with cycle counts, stock checks, and inventory reconciliation.

• Ensure materials are stored in correct locations and properly labeled.

• Use computer systems to enter data, update inventory transactions, and run reports.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe stockroom environment.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Warehouse, stockroom, or production support experience preferred.

• Knowledge of basic inventory control practices.

• Familiarity with MRP/ERP systems (preferred).

• Computer literacy required (Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word).

• Ability to safely operate pallet jacks and forklifts (certification preferred).

• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and record-keeping.

• Effective communication skills and ability to work with multiple departments.

• Ability to work independently and follow instructions with minimal supervision.

Education Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to work on a computer and move throughout the plant floor.

• Regularly required to use hands to handle materials and equipment.

• Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, crouching, or lifting as needed.
