We are seeking a Grinder General Laborer who can be responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining industrial grinding equipment that processes upcycled rice hulls into a fine, uniform material used in the production of sustainable wood-alternative products.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor grinding equipment that processes rice hulls into specific particle sizes for composite or board production.
• Load raw rice hull material into hoppers or conveyors, ensuring consistent feed and preventing blockages or bridging.
• Adjust machine settings (feed rate, blade speed, pressure, and temperature controls) to achieve required granule or fiber consistency.
• Inspect processed material for quality — checking particle size, moisture levels, and contamination.
• Maintain grinder equipment by cleaning, sharpening or changing blades, checking belts, bearings, and lubrication systems.

Skills:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience in industrial grinding, milling, or material processing preferred (plastic, biomass, or composite manufacturing experience is a plus).
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
• Basic understanding of production equipment operation and safety procedures.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a dusty, warm, or noisy industrial environment.

Working Conditions:

• Industrial production environment with exposure to dust and noise.
• PPE required: safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, respirator/dust mask, and steel-toed boots.
• Standing for extended periods; moderate physical activity, bending, and lifting.
• Require shift work 7am-7pm or 7pm-7am. Overtime based on production needs.
