Yard Labourer

Join our client's dynamic team in Vars, ON, as a Yard Labourer on a 3-month contract with the potential for extension!

If you're passionate about vehicles and don't mind working outdoors, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

Required skills and qualifications: 

• Comfort working outdoors in various weather conditions (with exceptions for extreme safety concerns)
• Ability to take initiative and work independently with minimal supervision
• Preparedness to dress for the weather
• Familiarity with automotive basics considered a strong asset (e.g., understanding 4x4, FWD, RWD, engine types, and fuel differences)
• Reliable transportation, as public bus access is not available

Duties may include, but are not limited to: 

• Removing license plates from vehicles
• Removing personal effects and items from vehicles
• Documenting vehicle specifications and attributes (if applicable), such as: drivetrain and engine details, premium features and options, air conditioning and fuel type (diesel/petrol)
• Performing other duties as assigned by the team lead

The wage for this position starts at $19.00 per hour. 

Hours: Monday to Friday – 8:00am to 5:00pm (1hr lunch)
