Express Employment Professionals is currently seeking skilled and experienced Forklift Drivers for a concrete manufacturing plant in Denton, Tx. This individual will be responsible for safely operating material handling equipment to transport, stack, and inventory materials within the facility. This role supports production and shipping operations by ensuring materials are moved efficiently and accurately.

 

Pay: $20/hr

Schedule: ROTATING BI-WEEKLY SCHEDULE FROM DAY AND NIGHT SHIFT!!  

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Read job specifications to determine operator adjustments and material requirements.
• Position forks, lifting platforms, or other devices under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, boxes, or materials to transport loads to designated areas.
• Unload and stack materials by raising and lowering lifting devices.
• Inventory materials on the work floor and supply workers with necessary materials.
• Perform routine maintenance including battery recharging, lubrication, fueling, and cleaning of equipment.
• Weigh materials or products and record weights on tags, labels, or production schedules.
• Maintain housekeeping in a clean and orderly fashion in assigned areas.
• Operate equipment by moving levers, shifting gears, depressing pedals, and maneuvering the steering wheel.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities related to the nature of the job as assigned, either temporarily or permanently.

Qualifications:

• MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE IN LOADING FLAT BED TRAILERS
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid forklift certification or ability to obtain one.
• Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physically demanding setting.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Basic math and record-keeping skills.
