Assembler/Finisher

Located in Ayer, MA

Salary: $20.00-$23.00/hr

We are recruiting for an Assembler/Finisher for a manufacturing company in Ayer, MA. The main responsibilities will be to perform small bench precision work requiring accurate fitting, adjusting, straightening/flattening of parts with standard and/or special tools.

Responsibilities:

• Performs various finishing work using simple tools or machines to: clean, trim, separate, remove webbing, remove scrap, assemble layers, and flatten
• Reviews product quality of parts being finished or assembled and notifies Quality or Supervisor of any defects, shortages, paperwork errors, material errors, or process errors
• Counts, stacks, labels, sorts, and packages parts to meet customer requirements
• Keeps track of work, labor, materials, inventory and part counts in a computer

Requirements:

• Reliable, predictable attendance
• Attention to detail
• Adhere to safety standard, company and quality standards keeping space organized, clean and safe as well as work harmoniously with others
• Previous finishing/assembly experience

The hours for this position are 7:00AM-3:30PM or 06:30AM-02:30PM, Monday-Friday.
This is a temp-to-hire/evaluation hire opportunity in a great company with lots of opportunities to learn and grow in a skilled trade. 

The pay rate range is $20.00-$23.00/hr.
