About the Role

We’re seeking an experienced Environmental Engineer (P.Eng) to join our client’s team based in the Windsor, Ontario area. This full-time role focuses on environmental assessments, compliance, and remedial design and implementation for clients across Canada and the U.S.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct Phase I/II Environmental Site Assessments and RSC submissions.
• Develop remedial investigations, feasibility studies, and design/implement remediation plans (soil, groundwater, vapour).
• Prepare work plans, budgets, engineering drawings, and technical reports.
• Manage contractors and oversee fieldwork, including excess soil and vapour mitigation projects.
• Provide regulatory support (ECAs, stormwater, discharge, ROW, PTTW) and liaise with MECP and other agencies.
• Ensure compliance with federal and provincial environmental regulations.
• Perform technical problem-solving and data analysis.
• Support project management, invoicing, and client retention activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental or civil engineering.
• Licensed P.Eng or P.E. (US) is required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in environmental consulting.
• Strong communication, technical writing, and client-facing skills.
• Familiarity with MECP, federal/provincial regulations, and working with regulators.
• Experience with geotechnical engineering, soil mechanics, and groundwater systems is an asset.

Compensation & Perks

• The salary range starts at $85,000

Additional Info

• Primarily office-based: data analysis, reporting, and project support.
• 75% of required travel is between Windsor and Toronto. Occasional travel to the U.S. or Western Canada.
