Position Overview:
We are looking for a dependable and organized Service Writer to join our team at a local truck equipment installation company. If you have strong communication skills, are detail-oriented, and can handle a busy office/shop environment, we’d love to have you on board!

 

Job Duties:

• Is primary point of contact for repair/service customers, walk-in and phone.  Coordinates with shop foreman in diagnosing repairs and gathering diagnostic information.

   

• Is responsible for writing up repair/service shop orders based upon the information gathered  in consultation with shop foreman.

   

• Is responsible for the shop schedule for service and repair customers and,  In consultation with the sales manager, integrates service schedule with shop production schedule.

   

• Is responsible for gathering information and pricing to make service/repair quotes and in conjunction with the shop foreman determines the details of the repair.  After such consultation, Is responsible for preparation of the quotes and presentation to customers.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift 15+ lbs consistently.
• Comfortable with sitting, standing and walking.
