Production Lead

A leading production facility in the Rosedale area is looking for a production lead overseeing daily manufacturing operations on the production floor, ensuring products are made safely, efficiently, and to quality standards. This role coordinates team members, monitors workflow, and assists in resolving operational issues to meet production goals.

Pay$20hr

Key responsibilities are:

-Lead production line

-Ensure that the production line is properly staffed and that line speeds are appropriate to ensure daily production goals are met

-Ensure that all required production paperwork is completed and turned in on time

-Become fully proficient in the operation of assigned production line(s)

-Understand and be able to perform the duties of each line member to ensure that all are proficient in their duties

-Provide on-the-job training to production line members

-Learn warehouse management computer system in order to print appropriate paperwork and Finished Good tickets

-High school diploma or GED required

 

Qualifications

Education & Experience:

• High school diploma or GED required
• 2+ years of experience in manufacturing or production environment, with at least 1 year in a leadership or team lead role.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement principles is a plus

Skills:

• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to read production schedules, work orders, and blueprints.
• Excellent problem-solving and organizational abilities.
• Basic computer skills (e.g., MS Office, ERP systems).
• Commitment to safety and quality.
