Rapid prototyping responsibilities include running 3D printing software and hardware to produce successful prototypes, cleaning and refinement of prototypes, and upkeep and organization of 3D printing hardware, supplies, and spaces. The coordinator will work directly with project managers, product designers, and engineers in the coordination and printing of our prototypes. The Rapid Prototyping Coordinator must exhibit attention to aesthetic detail, possess an intrinsic sense of urgency, work well independently, and be comfortable switching between priorities throughout the workday. In addition, this role will be responsible for assisting the lab technician in conducting testing procedures and observations. Responsibilities include labeling, filling, weighing, pumping, and conducting tests.
This role also aids with the overflow workload of packaging sampling needs with oversight from the Director of Transactional Operations. Sampling responsibilities include assistance in the organization and upkeep of the sample room and fulfillment of sample room tasks and requests with a special emphasis on BeautyLab sampling.
Primary Responsibilities
Rapid Prototyping (3D Printing):
•Prepare rapid prototypes for customers at the request of the commercial team.
•Prepare rapid prototypes for FusionPKG at the request of the development team.
•Prioritize the use of 3D printers to ensure delivery deadlines are met.
•Run 3D printing software and hardware.
•Clean and refine prototypes and seek approval from the development team.
•Pack and ship prototypes to customers and internal team members
•Assist with organizational projects and general rapid prototyping hardware, supply, and space upkeep.
•Other responsibilities as assigned to you.
