Maintenance Technician

Pay: Starting at $25/hr, based on experience
Shift: Full-time | Night shift 6p - 6a M-F

About the Role

We’re seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to support a high-volume manufacturing environment focused on aluminum extrusion and industrial equipment. This is a hands-on position requiring strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills. The ideal candidate thrives on solving problems, staying proactive, and keeping production moving.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and repair aluminum extrusion presses, conveyors, and support systems.

  • Troubleshoot and repair motors, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems (single and three phase).

  • Read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.

  • Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to minimize downtime.

  • Diagnose equipment issues using PLC ladder logic (read-only).

  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to identify process improvements.

  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and spare parts documentation.

What We’re Looking For

  • 2+ years of experience in industrial maintenance or equipment repair.

  • Journeyman, Associate’s degree, or certification in Mechanical/Electrical/Industrial Technology preferred.

  • Proficiency in troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.

  • Ability to read technical manuals and wiring diagrams.

  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physical industrial environment.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly.

  • Work in varying conditions—heat, noise, and industrial settings.

  • Must be able to work extended hours or off-shifts as needed.
