Duration: Approximately 6 Months
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 10-hour days (7AM–5PM)
Overtime: May be available on Fridays

About the Role

We are seeking experienced Excavator/Heavy Equipment Operators to join our team for critical environmental improvement projects in South Florida. These assignments will directly support the creation of new Water Filtration Fields designed to reduce pollution and help protect our oceans, lakes, and the Everglades ecosystem.

Position Details

• Equipment: 30–35 Ton Excavators

• Work Type: Clearing and Site Preparation (No Dirt Work)

• Pay Range: $22–$25 per hour (negotiable based on experience)

• Employment Type: Full-Time / Temporary Assignment

• Tasks:

• Clearing canal banks and prepping for future construction

• Requirements: Must be experienced in laying down vegetation mats for traction and to prevent equipment bogging

• Tasks: Clearing approximately 300 acres of vegetation and underbrush to develop a new water filtration field

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating heavy equipment (30–35 ton excavators)

• Strong understanding of safe operating procedures

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Reliable transportation to and from job sites

• Commitment to environmental stewardship and safety
