Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Facilities Maintenance Technician with strong plumbing experience and a broad range of general maintenance abilities to support the upkeep and efficient operation of a residential community and affiliated thrift store. The ideal candidate will have a wide-ranging skill set and be able to assist in various areas to ensure a safe, functional, and comfortable environment for residents, staff, and customers. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform plumbing repairs, including fixtures, leaks, drainage issues, and routine maintenance.

• Respond promptly to maintenance service requests, including plumbing, heating/cooling, electrical, and general repairs.

• Complete general maintenance tasks such as minor electrical work, carpentry, appliance repair, and basic building upkeep.

• Maintain accurate maintenance logs, service records, and documentation.

• Ensure all systems and repairs comply with safety, building code, and environmental regulations.

• Coordinate with vendors and contractors when specialized services are required.

• Assist with seasonal maintenance tasks (filter changes, thermostat checks, insulation inspections, etc.).

Qualifications:

• Strong plumbing repair and maintenance experience required.

• General facilities, property, or building maintenance experience preferred (2+ years).

• Broad mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot various issues.

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

• Familiarity with residential and light commercial systems.
