We are seeking a hands-on, bilingual Fabrication Supervisor (Production Lead) to oversee 3rd shift fabrication operations in a high-volume manufacturing facility.
This leader will manage a team of eight employees (1 forklift operator and 7 CNC machinists), ensuring performance, safety, and quality standards are met.
The company currently runs 24/7 and is planning a future shift transition to a 7 AM–7 PM / 7 PM–7 AM schedule, 5–6 days per week.

El líder gestionará un equipo de ocho empleados (1 operador de montacargas y 7 maquinistas CNC), garantizando el cumplimiento de los estándares de rendimiento, seguridad y calidad.
La empresa opera actualmente 24/7 y planea cambiar en el futuro a un horario de 7 AM–7 PM / 7 PM–7 AM, 5–6 días por semana.

Key Responsibilities / Responsabilidades Principales

• Supervise fabrication and quality operations on the 3rd shift.
  → Supervisar las operaciones de fabricación y control de calidad durante el tercer turno.

• Track rework, spending, and production output (linear feed or sq. ft./hour).
  → Controlar retrabajos, gastos y productividad (alimentación lineal o pies²/hora).

• Enforce safety compliance: PPE, forklift seatbelts, suction seals, and first-aid kits.
  → Asegurar el cumplimiento de las normas de seguridad: EPP, cinturones de seguridad en montacargas, sellos de succión y botiquines.

• Conduct shift-start walk-throughs and record TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) checks.
  → Realizar recorridos al inicio del turno y registrar las inspecciones TPM (Mantenimiento Productivo Total).

• Partner with monthly safety vendors for OSHA and forklift training.
  → Coordinar con proveedores mensuales de seguridad para capacitación OSHA y montacargas.

• Train and cross-train employees on CNC and stone fabrication equipment.
  → Capacitar y entrenar al personal en maquinaria CNC y procesos de fabricación de piedra.

• Support hiring, coaching, and performance reviews.
  → Apoyar en la contratación, orientación y evaluaciones de desempeño.

• Lead incident investigations and corrective actions.
  → Liderar investigaciones de incidentes y aplicar acciones correctivas.

• Reintroduce Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement principles.
  → Reintroducir principios de Manufactura Esbelta y Mejora Continua.

• Maintain high morale and accountability on the night shift.
  → Mantener alta moral y responsabilidad en el turno nocturno.

Required Skills & Experience / Habilidades y Experiencia Requeridas

• Stone fabrication and CNC cutting experience (CAD understanding preferred).
  → Experiencia en fabricación de piedra y corte CNC (preferiblemente con conocimientos de CAD).

• Bilingual (English + Spanish) required.

• Proven leadership in production or fabrication environments.
  → Experiencia comprobada en liderazgo dentro de entornos de producción o fabricación.

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
