Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 7:30 AM–4:00 PM
Pay: Starting at $27/hour (based on experience)
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Operator to join our team in a fast-paced, quality-driven machine shop. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience operating CNC mills and lathes, especially those familiar with Doosan and Fadal machines using Fanuc controls. Responsibilities:
- Operate CNC mills and lathes for low-run, quick-turn production
- Set up tools, apply offsets, and load programs as needed
- Read and interpret blueprints or engineering drawings
- Perform first article and in-process inspections using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools
- Deburr, saw material, and prep fixtures for upcoming jobs
- Multitask effectively in a clean, safe shop environment
- Follow all safety protocols and participate in troubleshooting and quality improvement efforts
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in CNC machining or a similar role
- Familiarity with G and M codes; ability to operate Fanuc-controlled machines
- Comfortable working with aluminum, mild steel, and aluminum castings
- Strong attention to detail and shop math skills
- Machinist Certification or formal training preferred
- Able to follow instructions, work well in a team, and maintain a positive attitude
- Creative, flexible, and organized problem-solver
Working Conditions:
- Indoor machine shop environment
- Exposure to loud noise, dust, and debris
- Must wear proper PPE: safety glasses, gloves, appropriate footwear, etc.
- Must be able to stand for long periods and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs
