Position Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Operator to join our production team. This role is essential to maintaining the quality and efficiency of our cold cuts packaging line. The ideal candidate will be responsible for slicing premium Italian meats and preparing them for packaging, ensuring that every product meets our high standards of quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Slicing Operations:
  Operate slicing machinery to portion cold cuts (e.g., salami, prosciutto, mortadella) according to product specifications.

• Tray Filling & Packaging:
  Accurately place sliced meats into packaging trays, ensuring proper weight, alignment, and presentation.

• Quality Control:
  Inspect sliced products for consistency, appearance, and adherence to hygiene standards.

• Machine Setup & Maintenance:
  Assist with setting up slicing and packaging equipment and perform basic maintenance and cleaning.

• Production Monitoring:
  Track production output and report any discrepancies or equipment issues to supervisors.

• Sanitation & Safety Compliance:
  Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety protocols in accordance with USDA and company standards.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in food production or packaging preferred (especially in meat or deli environments).
• Ability to work in a cold environment and stand for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
• Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume production setting.
