Forklift Driver

Located in Whitehouse, NJ

Salary: $20/hr

Express Employment in Hackettstown, NJ is working with a local company in Lebanon, NJ who is looking for a Reach Truck Driver.

This is a temp to perm position!

Responsibilities:

 

• Determine what needs to be moved from main warehouse location to Warehouse 5 (WH5) approx. 5 miles away
• Load truck from main warehouse, drive truck to WH5, and unload
• Begin receiving orders for the day to pick items off of pallets at WH5
• Responsible for large shipments in and out of WH5
• General warehouse maintenance
• At times supervision of other workers helping at WH5 will be necessary (not the norm/limited)
• Required to learn all equipment – order picker, two different forklifts

 

 

Experience and Skills:

 

• Valid driver’s license
• High school diploma or GED
• Comfortable with computers (instruction provided)
• Able to read, speak, and write in the English language
• Able to lift/carry 50 lbs with or without accommodation
• Able to work with carts, dollies, hand trucks, pallet jacks, etc.
• Totally reliable and punctual
• Desire to learn and take on responsibility
• Pride in work
• Comfortable working alone (independently)
• Able to work in climates of 50 degrees in winter and 90 degrees in summer
• Enjoys meeting deadlines on a day-to-day basis
• Comfortable with heights (order picker goes to 25 feet)
