Industrial Maintenance Technician – Dayshift | $32–$33/hr | Etobicoke, ON

Join a leading manufacturer of blow-molded plastic containers serving food, personal care, and automotive industries. Located in Etobicoke, this facility produces high-quality, high-volume, and specialty packaging solutions.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to join the dayshift team. You will work closely with a Red Seal Millwright to keep production running smoothly, performing repairs, diagnostics, and maintenance on a variety of machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on blow molding machines, conveyors, and production equipment
• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues and implement effective repairs
• Work closely with the Red Seal Millwright to plan and execute maintenance projects
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and equipment performance logs
• Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a mechanical maintenance technician in a manufacturing environment
• Hands-on expertise in hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, and blow molding equipment
• Strong troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and repairing machinery
• Experience using CMMS systems and performing root cause analysis
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with the team
• Commitment to safety, efficiency, and high-quality operations
• Ability to read and understand schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Excellent analysis skills for diagnosing issues quickly and efficiently.

Compensation:

• $32–$33 per hour
• Dayshift schedule
