Job Title: General Laborer

Job Summary

The General Laborer performs a variety of physical tasks to support daily operations. This position assists skilled workers, maintains work areas, handles materials, and ensures tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and according to company standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform manual labor tasks such as lifting, carrying, loading, and unloading materials
  • Assist with setup, cleanup, and maintenance of work areas
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, and basic equipment as required
  • Follow instructions from supervisors and skilled workers
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site
  • Adhere to all safety procedures, policies, and regulations
  • Perform routine inspections of tools and equipment
  • Support general production, maintenance, or construction activities as needed

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and reach for extended periods
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs (sometimes more with assistance)
  • Comfortable working in various environments (indoors, outdoors, hot, cold, or noisy conditions)

Work Environment

  • May include construction sites, warehouses, factories, or outdoor locations
  • Exposure to dust, noise, machinery, and weather conditions may occur
  • Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required

Schedule

  • Full-time or part-time
  • May require overtime, evenings, weekends, or shift work depending on operational needs
