Express Employment Professionals is currently assisting an industry leading Restoration Company in their search to fill a Prep Technician job in Eagan, MN
The Restoration Prep Technician plays a vital role in the restoration process by performing all preliminary work and site preparation before restoration technicians begin repairs. This position involves demolition, cleanup, and setup tasks to ensure projects run efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform demolition and removal of damaged materials such as carpet, drywall, insulation, and flooring.

• Set up equipment including wet vacs, dehumidifiers, and air movers as directed.

• Assist with cutting, measuring, and preparing materials for restoration use.

• Gather, organize, and stage tools, equipment, and supplies needed for restoration crews.

• Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas on job sites.

• Load and unload materials, debris, and equipment from company vehicles.

• Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

• Assist restoration technicians as needed once prep work is complete.

• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding progress and site conditions.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in construction, demolition, or restoration preferred but not required.

• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.

• Basic knowledge of hand and power tools.

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a team environment.

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required

Schedule:
Full-time, Monday-Friday 7:30am to 4:30pm 

Pay:
$20 an hour
