We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable CNC Burner/Metal Cutter to join a stable manufacturing company in Canonsburg, PA. This is a full-time opportunity offering a competitive starting pay, consistent work, and the potential for skill development and advancement within the company.

Key Responsibilities of the Plate Burner

• Burn carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum plates to size and shape precisely per drawings.
• Operate and maintain specialized equipment including CNC burning machines, hand torches, CM95, and oxyfuel equipment.
• Receive and unload steel shipments; verify quality and certifications to ensure material integrity.
• Grind materials as needed to prepare for the next production phase.
• Operate heavy equipment such as cranes and forklifts to safely move materials.
• Perform routine equipment maintenance and complete pre-shift checklists.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment and follow all established safety protocols.

Skills and Qualifications Required

• Proven ability to operate: CNC burning machines, hand torches, CM95, oxyfuel equipment, grinders, cranes, and forklifts.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings accurately.
• Detail-oriented, dependable, and committed to accurate and timely metal cutting per specifications.
• Strong commitment to safety: Able to work safely at heights and follow all safety protocols.
• Must be able to lift/move up to 60 lbs and perform moderate physical exertion (stand, walk, sit, use hands and arms, climb ladders, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl).
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Must pass a background check and drug screen.
• A physical exam is required prior to orientation.

Schedule and Compensation

• Steady Shifts (Specific shift details available upon inquiry).
• Pay Rate: $23.45/hour.
• Location: Canonsburg, PA (Note: No bus line access available to this location).
