Senior Machine Operator
Pay: $28.00 – $31.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 1st Shift 

Our client, a family-owned and operated manufacturing company, is seeking a Senior Machine Operator to join their growing team.

We’re looking for a mature, capable problem solver with strong technical ability and experience handling complex setups. The ideal candidate has prior experience with centerless grinding and a solid background in manufacturing — this is not an entry-level position.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate machinery for the production of medical-grade stainless steel tubing, including draw blocks, draw benches, and straighteners

• Perform complicated setups on centerless grinding and straightening machines

• Manage multiple machines and monitor production runs for quality and efficiency

• Complete required production documentation and maintain accurate records

• Use precision measuring tools (such as micrometers) to inspect and verify parts

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment required

• Prior experience with centerless grinding strongly preferred

• Proven ability to perform complex setups independently

• Excellent attention to detail and quality standards

• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills

• Reliable, mature, and self-directed work ethic

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted

• Basic computer literacy (barcode scanning, record lookup)
