Location: Northbrook, IL

Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour 

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (1st Shift)

 

Job Summary:
A manufacturing company in Northbrook, IL is seeking an experienced CNC Sander Operator to join their team. This position requires hands-on experience with CNC sanding machines, precision measuring tools, and a strong understanding of how to optimize materials for production. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

 

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC sanding machines.
• Perform data entry and maintain accurate production records.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Use calipers and other precision measuring tools to ensure product quality.
• Understand material characteristics to maximize efficiency and minimize waste.
• Lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Work collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications:

• 2–3 years of CNC Sander Operator experience required.
• Strong blueprint reading and math skills.
• Proficient in the use of calipers and precision measuring tools.
• Mechanically inclined with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and meet production goals.
• Reliable and punctual with good organizational skills.
