Express is hiring for a Diesel Technician for a client company in the Oregon area.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines, drivetrains, brakes, and electrical systems. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs on diesel engines and related systems

• Conduct preventative maintenance and DOT inspections on commercial trucks

• Repair and replace faulty components such as transmissions, brakes, hydraulics, and electrical systems

• Accurately document repairs, parts used, and services performed

• Communicate effectively with the service manager and customers about findings and recommendations

• Maintain a clean and organized work area and adhere to all safety standards

Qualifications: 

• 2+ years of experience as a diesel technician or equivalent training

• Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills

• Proficiency with diagnostic software and tools

• Ability to read and interpret repair manuals and schematics

• Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred but not required)

 

Pay: $27+/hr, depending on experience 

 

Hours: Monday - Friday, 7am - 4pm
