Monday thru Friday – 8am to 5pm

$25hr to $40hr depending on experience.

 

Custom packaging manufacturer providing quick turn on structure samples, digital prototyping, on-site testing, and in-house pack-out is seeking a Press Operator to join their team in Chatsworth.

 

Summary: We are seeking an experienced Press Operator to join our growing team in Chatsworth, CA. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating large-format digital presses and a strong commitment to quality and efficiency in a fast-paced production environment.

 

Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain large-format digital presses including AGFA Onset X3, AGFA Tauro, and EFI VUTEk H125.
• Set up print jobs according to production schedules and specifications.
• Perform press calibration, color management, and media alignment to ensure consistent print quality.
• Conduct regular equipment maintenance and troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with the design and production teams to ensure accuracy and quality of printed materials.
• Inspect printed materials for defects or inconsistencies and make necessary adjustments.
• Maintain accurate production logs and job documentation.
• Follow all safety, maintenance, and quality control procedures.

 

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience operating large-format digital presses.
• Proficiency with AGFA Onset X3, AGFA Tauro, and EFI VUTEk H125 required.
• Strong technical understanding of digital printing processes, color management, and material handling.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.
