Our client, a well-established company in the custom steel fabrication industry, is seeking an experienced Shipper/Receiver to join their growing team in Abbotsford. Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and book freight transportation, considering size and weight requirements
Load and unload trailers efficiently using forklifts and cranes
Maintain accurate shipping and receiving records in the ERP system
Verify incoming materials, report discrepancies, and manage damaged goods
Keep inventory, yard, and materials organized and safe
Track orders, obtain freight quotes, and troubleshoot issues as needed
Monitor shipping supplies and submit timely reorder requests
What You Bring:
Experience with freight systems, quotes, and duties
Background in steel or heavy industrial environments
Proven ability to work independently and problem-solve effectively
Forklift certification and strong safety awareness
