About the Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Keithville, Louisiana. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent attention to detail, and hands-on experience with QuickBooks. This position plays a key role in ensuring timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices and payments.

Key Responsibilities

• Review, verify, and process vendor invoices and employee expense reports

• Match purchase orders, invoices, and receipts for accuracy

• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve billing or payment discrepancies

• Prepare and process check runs and electronic (ACH) payments

• Maintain accurate and organized accounts payable records

• Assist with month-end closing and reporting

• Communicate effectively with vendors and internal departments

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred

• 2+ years of experience in Accounts Payable or general accounting

• Proficiency with QuickBooks is required

• Strong Microsoft Excel and general computer skills

• Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and time management

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
