About the Role:
Seeking an experienced CNC Machinist for 2nd shift. The ideal candidate is skilled in both CNC mill and lathe operations, capable of performing their own setups, and confident in interpreting blueprints and machining drawings.

Job Duties:

• Perform machining operations and set up CNC mills and lathes

• Operate multiple machines simultaneously when required

• Read blueprints to determine dimensions, tolerances, and sequence of operations

• Calculate and set machine controls to regulate speeds, feeds, and machining factors

• Measure and inspect finished work using indicators, micrometers, calipers, scales, and tape measures

• Set up and machine a variety of metals and castings

• Use hand and power tools safely during setup and production

• Follow all safety and quality standards while maintaining efficient production flow

• Operate cranes for material handling as needed

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a skilled CNC lathe and mill operator

• Strong knowledge of G-code and ability to perform own setups

• Proficiency with measuring instruments (dial indicators, micrometers, calipers, etc.)

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and machining drawings

• Experience operating both CNC mills and lathes required

• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs

• Longevity and reliability in previous employment preferred (no job-hoppers)

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required
