A local pneumatics company is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our 2nd Shift team. This position is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial machinery, equipment, electrical systems, and facility structures. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical and electrical skills, experience in an industrial manufacturing environment, and the ability to diagnose and resolve equipment issues efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair industrial machinery, equipment, and electrical systems.
• Diagnose equipment malfunctions and perform repairs by dismantling, replacing, and reassembling components.
• Install and repair electrical components on machines and facility structures.
• Layout, assemble, install, and maintain hydraulic and pneumatic piping systems.
• Adjust and troubleshoot machinery controls and functional components to ensure optimal performance.
• Set up and operate equipment such as lathes, drill presses, grinders, and other machine shop tools to fabricate repair parts.
• Operate cutting torches and welding equipment to cut, repair, or join metal components.
• Support production operations through cross-functional activities within the product flow process.
• Perform preventative maintenance and respond to emergency maintenance needs.
• Complete additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of 3-phase electrical applications and the National Electrical Code (N.E.C.).
• Experience working with CNC controls and systems.
• Ability to perform technical analysis and troubleshooting to determine equipment failure modes.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and industrial maintenance experience.
• Welding and fabrication experience preferred.
• Must possess a personal set of industrial mechanical tools required for the position.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Full Time Evaluation Hire Position

M-F 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm

$22/ hour
