Pay: $19.75 + Shift Differential = $20.50 / hour

Swing Shift: Monday - Friday, 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM

Graveyard: Compressed Work Week, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Job Description:

The coating process involves making batches of ink that are applied to rolls of thermal transfer ribbon that are then used by customers to imprint bar codes

• Operating a slitting machine that cuts thermal transfer ribbons
• Adjust slitting machine for cutting rolls according to specification noted on work order
• Operate core cutter that notches holes in thermal transfer ribbons
• Operate table saw
• Complete production paperwork based on output

Required Education and Experience:

• Prior machine operating experience helpful
• Ability to work with ink-making chemicals in sometimes very hot conditions
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English
• Ability to follow detailed instructions for setting up machine controls
• Ability to communicate with quality control as necessary to assure quality of finished product
• Ability to perform basic math functions, e.g., addition, subtraction, multiplication, division
• Ability to handle multiple tasks
• Ability to lift 20 pounds frequently and up to 60 pounds rarely
• Ability to pass a respirator test when working with hazardous chemicals
