Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Automotive Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong diagnostic and repair skills, with the ability to work on all makes and models. This role ensures vehicles are mechanically sound before and after bodywork.

Work Schedule

• Full-Time: Monday through Friday
• Hours:  8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical issues on all makes and models.
• Replace and repair parts such as radiators, water pumps, air compressors, and more.
• Perform routine maintenance and mechanical improvements.
• Inspect vehicles before and after bodywork for proper functionality.
• Collaborate with paint and body technicians to coordinate repair timelines.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs and parts used.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and shop procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience as an automotive mechanic.
• Brick-and-mortar auto store experience is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle systems (engine, transmission, brakes, suspension).
• Ability to use diagnostic tools and repair equipment.
• Must have own tools (specialty tools provided by shop).
• Valid driver’s license.
