Job Title: Surveyor – Tourism Experience Research
Location: San Diego, CA
Schedule: Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays (other days occasionally as needed) | 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Employment Type: Part-Time 1 year project 

About the Role:
We’re seeking outgoing and reliable individuals to join our team as Surveyors to help gather valuable feedback from visitors at San Diego’s top tourist destinations. As a Surveyor, you’ll be engaging with tourists in public spaces and encouraging them to complete short surveys about their experience visiting San Diego.

Responsibilities:

• Approach and engage with tourists at popular San Diego attractions
• Conduct 10–20 surveys per day using a mobile device or tablet
• Ensure surveys are completed accurately and respectfully
• Represent the organization professionally in public settings
• Report daily survey counts and feedback to the team lead

Requirements:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable initiating conversations with strangers
• Reliable transportation to various tourist locations
• Ability to work independently and meet daily survey goals
• Friendly, professional demeanor and positive attitude

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in customer service, hospitality, or public engagement
• Familiarity with San Diego’s tourist hotspots
• Bilingual skills are a plus
