About the Role
The Product Developer manages the full product lifecycle — from concept to production — driving innovation, quality, and profitability. You’ll collaborate directly with the company owner, factories, and sales teams to bring fresh, authentic styles to market.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of new hat styles aligned with the Peter Grimm brand.
• Manage relationships with factories and importers; occasional travel to China required.
• Ensure products meet target margins and quality standards.
• Source and evaluate new factory partners.
• Maintain product master sheet and tech packs.
• Train the sales team on product features and brand story.
• Supervise a Product Development Specialist and manage timelines.
• Collaborate with leadership using the company’s “12 Pillars of Product Development.”

Qualifications

• 5–10 years’ experience in product development (fashion or accessories preferred).
• Strong skills in vendor relations, margin management, and lifecycle management.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Willingness to travel internationally.
