Local Manufacturing Company is seeking a 1st shift candidate for a Manufacturing Associate position! Hours are 5:00 am to 3:00 pm Monday-Friday. Starting pay $18/hr.  This Manufacturing Associate position is a full-time, permanent position. As part of the production team, the employee supports department processes while maintaining a focus on quality, safety, and team collaboration.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operate machines according to standard procedures
• Follow all customer and company requirements
• Read technical drawings and blueprints
• Ensure parts meet quality and specification standards
• Accurately record production and operating data
• Set up and adjust machines for efficient operation
• Use measuring tools, including tape measures, calipers, and micrometers
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area, including end-of-shift cleanup
• Support process improvements and work collaboratively with the team
• Follow all safety policies and wear required PPE
• Assist with other duties and special projects as assigned

 Qualifications: 

• Ability to speak and write fluent English.
• Ability to work overtime as required on short notice.
• History of dependability and responsibility in the workplace.
• Ability to maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
• Basic math skills and ability to read tape measures.
• Attention to detail and mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to read technical drawings and operate precision equipment.
• Cooperative attitude and strong team orientation

 Physical Requirements: 

• Must be able to remain in a stationary 50% of the time working with a computer
• Must be able to move up to 15 pounds at times for various needs.
• Must be able to access all areas of the facility to determine needs.
