Machine Operator

Columbus Company is looking to add a Quality Control Tech to their team!

The ideal candidate is someone with a get-it-done attitude and attention to detail!        

Pay/Benefits:

• $19-20/hr depending on experience.
• Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance upon hire.
• 401k, Vacation, PTO after hire on.

Schedule:

• 1^st Shift Monday – Thursday 6:30am – 5pm
• 3rd Shift Sunday - Thursday 8:30pm - 7am 
• Overtime as needed

Job Duties:

• Pull batching samples for quality testing.
• Test product according to specifications includes simple wet chemistry, physical testing, and detailed GMP documentation.
• Logging and shipping of bulk and finished product microbiology samples to outside testing laboratories.
• Cross training to assist Quality Control Techs in other duties such as line checks and auditing of batch records.

Requirements:

• Must be detail oriented.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize, multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Quality experience is required.
• Desire to learn and grow in the role, department, and company.
