Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Counter Sales / Customer Service Representative to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, has strong communication skills, and is passionate about helping customers find the right products and solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers at the sales counter and over the phone.
• Provide product knowledge and technical support for irrigation systems and related supplies.
• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Prepare and maintain sales orders, invoices, and inventory records.
• Handle returns, exchanges, and resolve customer inquiries promptly.
• Collaborate with the warehouse team to ensure timely order fulfillment.
• Maintain a clean and organized counter area.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; some college or technical training preferred.
• MUST HAVE previous experience in counter sales, retail, or customer service (experience in irrigation or plumbing industry is a plus).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to learn and explain technical products.
• Basic computer skills (POS systems, Microsoft Office).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
